The homepage now opens on a hand-built, spinnable 3D globe. Drag to rotate, scroll or pinch to zoom, and hover or tap any country to see its name and jump straight to its profile. It is lit with soft directional shading and a glowing gold graticule so it reads as a real sphere, opens framed on Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and falls back gracefully to the classic button when 3D is unavailable.
Added an A to Z index of all 195 countries, so you can jump straight to any nation without spinning the generator. Find it from the new Countries tab in the menu, or from the homepage. Each entry links to the full country profile.
Expanded the curated facts on several high-interest country pages, including India, Bangladesh, South Sudan and Equatorial Guinea, with more accurate, hand-checked details.
Introducing Learning Paths: study and master the capitals and flags of all 197 countries, one continent at a time or the whole world at once. Every country comes with a memory hook to make it stick, and spaced repetition tracks your progress so you practise exactly what you need. Free, no login required.
Added a published terms page and an authorship record, tightened visa and disputed-territory notes, and corrected several country data points so the figures you read are accurate and clearly sourced.
First-time visitors now get a short welcome tour that points out the random generator, search, and the daily games.
Expanded the facts pages to 36 hand-picked facts for the most-visited countries, with the strongest facts surfaced first.
